With an instinct for the visual telling and understanding of people’s narratives, Rita is passionate about storytelling across all media platforms and creating great content.
Rita relocated to Seattle in 2014 from Portland, Oregon. She received her Project Management Certification from the University of Washington; Organizational Communications Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Portland; and an Associate Degree in Film/Television Production from Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon. She attended (SVC) Seattle Visual Concepts for Graphic Design ’18, and is a recent graduate from Boston University’s Paralegal Studies Program ’21.
Rita’s professional career includes working within the corporate, entertainment, political and legal sectors. Rita worked at Laika Entertainment on the Oscar-nominated stop-motion animated feature film Coraline, 2016 House of Representatives and Senate Political Campaigns, and has project-managed countless corporate communication video and photography projects for agency clients. Rita shifted her skills to the legal sector as Marketing Director and Trial Visual Strategist for a Seattle area law firm. Her responsibilities included company marketing and working with attorneys to strategize and design trial boards for major litigation.
In her free time, Rita enjoys hiking the beautiful Pacific northwest trails, travel photography, and spending time with her daughters and lovable labs, Jack and Ben.
